Merry Christmas!!!

Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas. I know our family sure did. Christmas Eve Natalie lost her tooth. It was loose, so she wanted our neighbor pull it out instead of me. I guess our neighbor pulled it out with a needle-nose pliers. That night we had our big dinner with ham, potatoes, rolls, & salad. Then we let the kids open one present, which is always p.j's. We put the kids to bed around 10:00. While they were all snugged in their beds the Tooth Fairy & Santa came.
This is what our living room looked like before the kids woke up. I love watching them open all their presents & seeing the looks on their faces. Santa didn't forget about me & Dave, we got snorkels for our trip to Hawaii in June.

This is what our living room looked like after opening all the presents. I can't believe that Christmas is already over. We sure did have a fun day, just staying home in our p.j's!!! That's one thing I love about having our own little Christmas.

Anything Can Happen On The Polar Express

This weekend we took the kids to Heber City, UT and took them on the Polar Express that went to the North Pole. We were served hot chocolate and cookies that Mrs. Clause made herself (who was aboard). We listened to The polar Express story, sang Christmas songs, and on the way back Santa made a surprise appearance & gave all the kids a silver bell that he cut off his reindeer's harnesses.

We had so much fun! We left Friday afternoon and stayed at a hotel in Provo. Saturday night we went on the train ride. Then we came home Sunday afternoon. We did a lot of swimming. . . I mean ALOT of swimming. We also spent some time with my brother and his wife.

Happy Birthday To You!!!

Dave celebrated his birthday this week. He was excited to get new, clean white socks from his parents & a brand new brownie pan that cooks all corners & edges from me & the kids. I called a friend of his & told him to take Dave to the gym or do something with the guys. I feel bad he's always here & I get to go out for girls night out or recipe group.

Natalie also celebrated her 'fake' birthday. We did it early since we'll be in Utah over her real one. She decided to go swimming at the Aquatic Center. I made invitations & told her to give them to whoever she wanted at school. I was surprised she invited a couple boys!

The kids swam for 3 hours & they were so water logged when they got out. My kids always say 'I'm so wet, I'm puckered'! I should have taken a picture of their hands & feet when they were done. It ended up being a lot of fun. Despite the windy, snowy weather!!
