Ashley's alarm clock goes off around 7:00am. She is the first in the shower to help wake her up. She can spend all day in the shower if we let her. Her favorite breakfast is french toast (especially if Dave makes them). She then gets dressed & I do her hair. She's out the door about 8:15 to catch her ride to school.
Ashley loves school!! I go in & help on Mondays, Gavin goes with me & the boys think he's 'the man'. I'm amazed at how much Ashley has learned & she only in the 3rd grade. She comes home with some vocabulary words that I try to pronounce, lets just say she has to correct me & then she gives me the meaning. She has really grown up to be a very smart little girl!
When she gets home from school she has an after school snack & gets her homework done so she can play. Twice a month she gets to go to Achievement Days. I can't believe that in a few short years she'll be going to young women's. Where does the time go?
As soon as Dave gets home from work, her smile is so big that it looks like her lips are stretching out too far. She & Dave have such a special daddy-daughter bond that will never be broken. I love to watch them.
Yea, it's 8:00, time to get ready for bed. She & Natalie get to read in bed & they get to talk. I love to listen to them. They are best friends!!
