December in Review

Well we celebrated Dave's birthday this weekend by going out for dinner to Five Guys Burgers. It was our first time there & it was really good. His good friend Justin was in town as well. The kids & I made him a candy gram for his birthday. I mean, what do you get a guy who's got everything?!? I even asked him what he'd like for his birthday.
We also celebrated Natalie's birthday. We had a surprise party for her. She thought we were going to do it on Dec. 14. We had her party down at the pool house & had about 30 kids. She was so surprised when all her friends jumped out & yelled 'SURPRISE'! She came up to me & told me I was a liar because we had her party earlier than she thought. I'm surprised she didn't find out. I mean, parents would call me & she'd be right next to me, or kids would talk about it in class in front of her.

We all went to Minnesota for Christmas! It was fun to see my parents & my brother along with his family. We got in on Christmas eve. Christmas morning we woke up to find Santa came to visit over the night & left presents for the kids. My brother & his family came later that afternoon. It was so cute seeing my girls & his 2 girls play together. Gavin got to play with his 2 older boy cousins. Later that day my G-ma, aunt, uncle, & my cousins came for dinner. It was fun to see everyone again. We went to the Mall of America. The kids had a blast going on all the rides there. Natalie loved the big roller coaster the best. Gavin liked the Pepsi roller coaster & the log chute. Ashley loved the Pepsi roller coaster as well. The kids got to go slidding for the 1st time in their lives. They had fun going up & down the hill. We took the whole family to Dave & Busters to celebrate December birthdays. It was amazing to see how many people had a birthday in December. We finally came home one December 29 to get ready for Natalie's baptism on January 2. So many parties, so little time.
